- lizJun 19, 2026, 3:43 PMHistorically, constitutions have been drafted by relatively small groups and then adopted by larger populations. AI and mobile phones, including feature phones, create the possibility of gathering, synthesizing, and learning from the perspectives of millions of people around the world. Given these new capabilities, should an AI Constitution explore mechanisms for broader participation in its development and evolution? What might we learn from hearing directly from the people who will live, work, learn, and lead in an AI-enabled future, and how might that input be meaningfully incorporated into a living constitutional framework?
